Project description

The Kinel Center has become a fifth center in Russia, and the largest one: its area for 26 thousand pallet positions exceeds 18 thousand square meters. Up to 14,000 tons of products can be stored in the warehouse at the same time. The annual turnover is 220 thousand tons.

The area of 5.4 ha allocated for construction turned out to be swamp. According to our experts, on a constructability scale from 1 to 10, the site was graded "one": of all possible natural disadvantages, perhaps there was not only a governmental cable under the ground.

The construction started with concrete piles (it was necessary to drive about 4,000 piles) and quarry excavation to fill in additional soil. It was decided to make self-leveling floors with an environmentally friendly polyurethane coating, which that time were installed only at sites dealing with space developments.

For the first time, in class A warehouses, a bridge conduit was installed, due to which the self-leveling heavy-duty floors carry a load of up to 9 tons per sq. m.

The warehouse complex in Samara, which we constructed for our client, Nestle Company, is very difficult from technical and engineering point of view, the first center of such class in the Samara region.
