Construction of refrigerating and freezing warehouses

Construction of refrigerating and freezing warehouses

Effective work related to the maintenance of food is impossible without special premises for their freezing and storage. Renting a refrigeration warehouse is a problem: most owners of commercial premises offer conventional facilities.

For this reason, more and more users of freezing points are choosing a more efficient solution - building their own refrigerated warehouses at the optimal point from the point of view of the logistics of the enterprise. Activities related to the development of the project and the construction of such a warehouse, accompanied by a number of serious features dictated by the requirements for the premises themselves.

Requirements for the construction of a refrigeration warehouse

The object must:

  • meet a number of legislative requirements;
  • be equipped with equipment that ensures compliance with sanitary requirements;
  • be fireproof;
  • not to cause damage to the environment;
  • effectively work in any climatic conditions.

The project should take into account the nature of the products that will be stored in it, the types and productivity of the freezing equipment involved, the planned storage methods and other important points. Construction technology is determined by the Customer. Today, the most common are the skeleton construction methods, which assume:

  • multilayered structure (walls and external finishing with sandwich panels);
  • ventilated roof and foundation;
  • the device of the warmed floor;
  • Internal zoning with insulated panels.

Types of warehouses with refrigeration units

Technologies of prefabricated or capital buildings can be used for all types of warehouses - storage facilities, distribution points and premises for storage of finished products in production. In the work of the general contractor, this includes a full range of works from project approval to commissioning and warranty service of the facility.

Stages

The refrigeration warehouse construction cycle can take from several months to a year. It depends on the level of complexity inherent in the terms of reference, and the type of equipment used. Stages:

  • Working out of the plan of warehouse territory and architectural decision taking into account the Customer's Technical Task, features of products, capacities of refrigeration equipment and logistics.
  • Creation and coordination of a project package of documents.
  • Preparation of the construction site.
  • Installation of foundations with soil protection from freezing.
  • Erection of the main unit (assembly of the frame).
  • Installation of wall enclosing structures (sandwich panels with a layer of polyurethane foam, foam and other heaters).
  • The device of a roof.
  • Equipping the warehouse with equipment.
  • Installation of reloading systems.
  • Installation of refrigerating doors.
  • Commissioning works.
  • Checking the effectiveness of the technique and creating a specified temperature regime.
  • Accomplishment.
  • Warranty service.

At the exit the Customer receives a fully functional room, divided into zones and equipped with everything necessary for storage, storage and processing of products.
